Andrew graduates in 2008 from Elkins High School in the Houston area, where he’s been a Lincoln-Douglas debater for four years. Despite limited ability to travel, he’s made the most of his opportunities in Texas, and has been competitive among the top national debaters. This year, he earned a qualification to the Tournament of Champions as a finalist at Grapevine, a semifinalist at St. Mark’s, and champion at Churchill. Andrew has been in elimination rounds of every tournament he attended my senior year, including Memorial and the UT Longhorn Classic. Andrew has qualified for TFA state in each of the last three years.
