Matthew is a senior at Columbia University, and will graduate with a B.A. in Political Science in May 2008. He was the assistant debate coach at Lexington High School for four years, where he helped several students qualify for States, Nationals, and the TOC.

As a debater, Matthew was the Champion of the Harvard National Invitational, Lexington Winter Classic, and Big Bronx tournaments. His senior year he had a 15-1 outround record at TOC bid tournaments, and was the runner-up at the CFL National Tournament.
